SHANGHAI, July 6 (Reuters) – U.S. electrical car maker Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) bought round 78,000 China-made automobiles in June, preliminary estimates revealed by the China Passenger Automobile Affiliation (CPCA) confirmed on Wednesday.

This was up 142% from Could, when Tesla bought 32,165 China-made automobiles, and up 135% from a 12 months in the past.

Tesla’s manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China’s financial hub, was badly affected within the second quarter by a lockdown which pressured the positioning to halt manufacturing for 22 days from late March.
